Ban & fine($$$) any company advertising on public property including signs on grass & posters on poles. It's messy, distracting & polluting.
Companies should not target an area with advertising signs on every corner resulting in free advertising for them at the expense and dislike of the majority of neighbourhood residents and degradation of the neighbourhood. You see them plastered everywhere on walks or while driving and they just get get blown away or trashed. It looks terrible. This is really a form of polluting, like throwing something away on the road. Companies that that do this should be fined for each sign or sticker they put up plus the cost of removal. The same with stickers on poles that deface public property. It's gotten way out of hand and these companies need to stop. Exemptions can be given for town approved community messages.

Also the town should remove all the useless signs it puts up! Why do we need 2-3 different poles at each playground, trail entrance with signs reminding us that "park is closed from dawn to dusk" etc.(nonsense, citizens should not be able to jog or walk a dog e.g. during the winter months when it is dark??) , and ugly signs sponsoring trails and flower beds.all over town The town should be able to afford to keep up these public spaces and NOT WASTE MONEY on PUTTING UP SIGNS! I would like to see the budget spent on signs.
