New public trails that connect the 16 mile creek trail from north Oakville all the way down to downtown Oakville and the lake
With the most likely upcoming development of Glen Abbey Golf Course into a residential area, it will unlock the public lands that surround 16 mile creek that have only been only accessible to mainly golfers due to the golf course being privately owned and having 5 or so holes built on public land. This gives the Town time to start planning now for some wonderful public trails that would connect Oakville together and be a gorgeous part of Oakville where families want to live. It would be accessible for all families, joggers, bikers, etc... to enjoy any day and any time of the week. Imagine being able to run or bike through trails from Lions Valley Park Creek all the way to downtown Oakville. The Glen Abbey Golf Course development has an upside for many Oakvillians.

Unfortunately, any trails south of the QEW Highway won't change much so there will have to be some sections following roads and sidewalks to complete the link from Lions Valley Park to Lake Ontario.
However, using what is now Glen Abbey it should be easy to connect the Sixteen Mile Creek Trails between Upper Middle Rd and the path going under the QEW Highway with continuous trails. A Runners Dream!
